Welcome to Tarkwa Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMTC) a premier Public health training institution dedicated to producing highly skilled, compassionate, and professional nurses and midwives to serve Ghana and beyond.

OUR HISTORY

The College was established in 2008. We are accredited by Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and Nursing and Midwifery Council for Ghana, ensuring that our graduates meet the highest professional and regulatory standards.

Our mentoring university is Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi one of the best universities in Ghana and in West Africa.

Located in the heart of Tarkwa in the Tarkwa - Nsuaem district in the Western Region of Ghana, Our serene campus offers a conducive learning environment supported by dedicated faculty and state-of-the-art facilities. We are committed to equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, moral and cultural values needed to deliver quality healthcare in hospitals, clinics, and communities.

Our Programmes

We offer nationally and internationally recognized programmes in Registered General Nursing (RGN) and Registered Midwifery (RM), combining strong theoretical foundations with intensive practical experience in accredited hospitals and clinics.
